It’s safe to say our head designer Joyce has pretty excellent taste. We’re tapping her once a month to pick a current fave from our Labels We Love and highlight why the brand fits in with the Madewell fam. This round she’s feeling Indego Africa, a nonprofit that creates meaningful jobs and provides education for artisan women—we especially love their mission too, so we teamed up with them on a capsule of summer-ready bags.

“There’s a lot to admire about Indego Africa. They use natural materials and traditional handcrafting techniques, plus 100 percent of their proceeds go toward providing education for the artisans they work with in Rwanda and Ghana.”
